The IAAF World Championships was a world class athletics event held at the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park, London during the Summer 2017. The event, held over a 10 day period, brought together elite athletics from all over the world and over 50,000 spectators to each session.

We worked as part of the Spectator Services team, with responsibility for welcoming and directing spectators to the Championships. The role involved managing hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers to ensure everyone arrived safely and had a great experience before taking their seats and that they left the event in a managed way.
